It's not as packed as the restaurants surrounding and that's probably a good indication of how this restaurant fares in comparison as well. The portions are pretty big, as is in any Czech restaurant. The prices of the the food are fair, especially for this area of town I suppose. There really isn't much to write home about on the food.

6 days ago · First time visit for us. Wanted some delicious European food, and Cafe Prague delivered! Duck dumpling appetizer is recommended as wells the tripe soup. I had the PERFECT duck and my wife had, as she said, some of the best steak and vegetables ever! Desert was tremendous! Nice little comfortable restaurant in a nice little comfortable neighborhood.

Highly recommended!! Best food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The portions are ginormous! I can eat there, and then at home for, at least, two more days. My favourite is the Weinerschnitzel, which is topped with a peach. Juicy, moist and oh so very good. Contrasting texture and meat/fruit combo - outstanding!
The service was good, the ambience was comfortable, the menu items were unusual for Caifornia, the bread was very good, the 'Praga' lager was good. "But" -- none of the food was excellent, the salad was wimpy, the side portions were small, and the prices were high. The next day we had better food for lower total cost at another area restaurant.
