Clean out the inside of the oil filter housing and replace the o-ring with a new one before installing the new oil filter cartridge. Slightly lubricate the o-ring with some fresh motor oil prior to installing it. Now, screw on the filter housing and make it snug tight. Torque it to 25 Nm (19 ft-lb).
