Dec 14, 2010. #2. Sounds like the coolant isn't circulating around the system, or there is a blockage somewhere. You have bled the air from the radiator and the highest point which is the bleed on pipe to the heater matrix. So if there is still no heater it would seem that the water pump isn't circulating the water or something is blocked up.
I guess you have fixed this, but if you haven't the following might help from an earlier post -. From the manual page 38- hope it helps. To reset car operation, follow this procedure: . turn the ignition key to MAR; . activate the right-hand indicator; . deactivate the right-hand indicator;

This year i had problems with overheating The first problem occured when the hose connecting the radiator to the water pump exploded I fix the fuel hose, bought a new one.. problem was solved and i tought im safe on the road.

The fuel pump is located in the center of the housing, and the sender unit is usually tagged onto the side of the housing. In some cases, the sender unit needs to be removed to allow access to the pump. A fuel line from the housing to the pump will need to be removed as will electrical connections.

Here is an exploded picture of the pump from the ePer Parts Catalogue for the 2.3 JTD engine which is accessible from the link at the top of the Fiat Forum page. Numbers 3,4,9 & 11 are listed as "gasket seal". There does not appear to be a paper gasket listed as you have said, do the rubber seals come with the pump.

This only happens when the engine is rotating, either by the starter motor or when engine running. The high pressure pump is supplied diesel by the in tank lift pump. Last edited: Oct 25, 2020.

Jun 18, 2010. #6. You could put some of the oil on a piece of paper to see what colour it is (brake fluid and powersteering fluids are usually different colours). If it is a leak from the powersteering circuit you need to see where it is coming from. It might be a leak from one of the pipes and not the pump.
